The park was beautifully decorated with twinkling lights and festive decorations, creating a wonderful holiday atmosphere. The Winter Village featured an ice skating rink, charming holiday shops, and delightful seasonal treats, making it a perfect destination for families and friends. The scenic view of the riverfront added to the enchanting experience, and the live entertainment brought extra joy to the event.

This park plopped in the middle of downtown Tampa offers sometimes a respite with a big open field and colorful water feature that masquerades as a splash pad. Other times, the park hosts music festivals, holiday events, and more. This week, it is pop-up Winter Village with ice skating in 70 degree weather and several local vendors.
This is a great place to enjoy one of the sponsored classes like aerobics, Zumba®, stretch. Walk, run, relax, picnic, enjoy the park!
The men’s and women’s restrooms offer one room with grab bars and a 5 ft x 5 ft area.
When I recently took the kids to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, we had a great time. The park’s location along the Hillsborough River offers stunning views, and the open spaces were perfect for the kids to run around. They especially loved the interactive fountains and the well-equipped playground.
The park was lively, with activities like a yoga class on the lawn and live music in the amphitheater. Everything was easy to access, making the visit enjoyable for both me and the kids. It’s definitely a spot we’ll revisit. But the facilities were not so clean.
