What a wonderful city beach park! We will definitely be back again here. The beach is clean and quite long, there are mangrove trees growing on part of the beach. You can have a barbecue on the beach, and there are roofed pavilions for shade. There is also a nice trail I the forest for a walk. The beach is very popular in the end of the day for sunset watching. Beautiful place!
Visited Cypress Point Park for the sunset while we had family in town, and it was absolutely amazing. The weather was great at a nice 58 degrees and windy.
The kids were able to visit the park and play in the sand before the sun set.
The views were amazing, and there were a lot of people out enjoying the views. The bathrooms are ok and not the best, but atleast they were open and working.
It’s a fantastic spot—though a bit buggy, it’s perfect for watching the sunset. Being close to the airport, you can even see flights landing. It took only 10 minutes to get to the car rental return. We had a great time at a small beach with calm, quiet waters.
I’ve been to a lot of parks in my life, and Cypress definitely earned a spot in my Top 20 of all time 🙂
The energy there was incredible—you can just feeeeeel the good vibes. Everyone, from families to lovers to solo park enjoyers to the dogs to the people grilling to friends, around seemed focused on ONE thing: being present and having a wonderful time at the park.
Whoever thought to have a park on the beach really did something and I’m grateful to have experienced it. I personally liked it better than Clearwater beach :0
It’s a great spot to be close to water and have it still feel like a beach. Beautiful view of the bridges and downtown. Best part about it… FREE PARKING (for now)
