To call this “NY style” pizza is not only misleading but downright insulting as a New Yorker who knows what real pizza should taste like. We ordered a meat lovers pie and another half Hawaiian, half veggie, and were thoroughly disappointed on all fronts.
Don’t let the positive reviews fool you—this was one of the worst pizzas we’ve ever had. The crust was burnt to the point of being inedible, yet somehow the pizza was still floppy and soggy in the middle. The toppings were sparse, the flavors were bland, and the overall quality was far below what we’d expect from any pizzeria claiming to serve “NY style” pizza.
This place was recommended by family we were visiting in the area, and even they apologized when they saw the sad excuse for pizza that we received (we’ve included pictures so you can see for yourself). Adding insult to injury, the price was ridiculous—over $30 for a pie that didn’t even come close to delivering on taste or authenticity. The only thing “NY” about this pizza was the inflated price tag.
If you’re looking for authentic, quality pizza, this is not the place. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere. BEWARE.
Food was good with ok service. The restaurant had a stinky smell to it, like it was cleaned with dirty mopped floor water. The seating area was really busy. As soon as someone got up, someone else sat down. My family had a table to eat our dinner, but we carried our pizza back to the hotel because I felt like the dining area was really dirty. There was no one there to clean and wipe down this area. Having a dirty dining area makes one wonder how clean the kitchen area is. I recommend picking up pizza and taking it home. Cleaning the dining area needs to be more of a priority. Oh, I almost forgot…. the added garlic to the buffalo wing sauce, it really elevates the taste. Great buffalo wings! Pizza was decent.

They offer bottled coca-cola products or fountain drinks from the push button digital machines. My slice of Sicilian and a small fountain drink came to $7.50. I think that’s a little pricey for a slice of pizza and a soda but I’m new to the area. Maybe that is average for Tampa.
The place was very busy today because of a nearby kids festival. Didn’t see anyone maintaining the tables or cleaning them between customers. Could just be because they were super busy though. Pizza and drink were good. I’d come back again sometime. I did see a 2 plain slice + fountain drink special for $7.99. That seems like a decent deal.
We never thought we would find amazing NY-style pizza while on vacation, but we did, and it was delicious! Honestly, better than some places in NY where we live.
There were lots of different slices to choose from. I loved my chicken parm slice, and the Buffalo chicken was good, but spicier than I prefer.
Highly recommend stopping here. If we were local I would be back for both the slices and to check out the rest of the menu.

Whole pies or by the slice, they’ve got you covered.
As for the pizza? Let’s just say it won’t ruin your day, but it won’t change your life either. One of my slices was a bit undercooked—because who doesn’t love a little doughy surprise? Not the best, not the worst, but hey, still worth a try if you’re in the area!
