Great breakfast buffet offering a number of Southern comfort breakfast items. My favorite items were the fried catfish and the pancakes, and I was so glad to see fried green tomatoes too. Our server Steven was super friendly and attentive too. We came on a Sunday morning just after 1000 and were able to be seated just 15 minutes later. They stopped serving breakfast at 1115, which is a bit earlier than I expected, but I’m glad we got there in time.
This all-you-can-eat breakfast was absolutely amazing! Every single dish I tried was delicious, from the fluffy pancakes to the perfectly cooked eggs. The price was surprisingly affordable, especially considering the quality and variety of food available. The service was top-notch—our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, even though the place was packed. The staff handled the busy crowd with ease, and I didn’t have to wait long at all for anything. Plus, there’s plenty of parking, which made the visit even more convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Tampa!
At the suggestion of a friend that used to live in this area, we all went to Fred’s Market Restaurant for lunch yesterday. Normally, I’m not a buffet type of guy, but this restaurant was heads above any buffet that I have been to in quite a few years.
Everything was so clean. The buffet line was spotless. I should say buffet line(s) for there was the main entree line, the salad line, and the dessert line.
There are several options for dining here. You can get the one blue plate special, which allows you to have one plate to put whatever you want on it. The next option is the One Trip, which allows you three plates for one time. You have one plate for your entree, one for your salad and one for dessert. The last option is the Full Market Table, which allows you to eat as much as you want. If you are really hungry, this offerring is only $2 more than the One Trip option.
We all elected to go with the One Trip special. Everything was delicious, and the buffet had several meats to choose from along with numerous vegetables. In short, everything was delicious. The desserts are lined up for you to choose from. Ice cream and whipped cream can be added to any dessert. All you have to do is ask.
Our server was very attentive to our needs, and our drinking glasses were always kept full.
In short, it is a very pleasurable dining experience. We highly recommend this place.
We drove over an hour to eat at Fred’s and waited for half an hour. The food and atmosphere was worth the wait! There were a variety of traditional southern food options, a delicious salad bar, and my favorite, the dessert bar! The pecan pie and brownie delight were amazing. They offer three price points, but the best part is, you can wait and see how much you eat to determine which price you end up at. I would highly recommend Fred’s Market Restaurant to family and friends!
Food was hot fresh not Greasy, place was definitely a town favorite multiple people revolving. Prices were very favorable loved the hospitality and southern vibe it felt very homey. Defined recommend
