We were craving a good French Cafe. The music and staff were great. The food came up a little short. Crab cake Benedict was tasty but eggs are cooked hard. Never had a Benedict like that. The toast was so hard couldn’t bite it. Omelette was tasty but eggs were burnt in several spots. Bacon was meh. Coffee was awesome and ordered dessert to go. We live in Orlando East not worth the trip for us. Maybe they need another shot but not by me too far of a trip. Sorry I really wanted to love it.
This is a pan seared almond crusted salmon/ w mustard sauce and garden vegetables(asparagus, squash, zucchini, and bell peppers). The Croque madame(with egg), and a strawberry and banana Nutella crêpe. All were beautiful server and tastes amazing excellent service and setting for an afternoon brunch!!
To be honest. This place wasn’t very good. It could have been the food I got but it was very dry. I got the pesto chicken on a croissant and the chicken was so dry and there was hardly any sauce to help solve the issue. The whole sandwich just tasted dry and I tasted no pesto which is surprising since it was supposed to be pesto chicken. I would recommend maybe adding a pesto whipped butter to the croissant! The seats were very uncomfortable and the service was pretty much non existent. My husband got the omlette and it wasn’t bad but they did forget to add the tomato he asked for. But for $60 I would not come back here for the most dry sandwich I’ve ever had. The fire alarm was also going off the whole time which isn’t their fault but very annoying for a brunch date.
We had a really nice experience at the French cafe! The food is unique and delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing and calm. Good lofi music and excellent coffee. Definitely 5 stars! Colin served us and was really great energy the whole time. I highly recommend stopping for breakfast if you’re looking for something outside the norm in downtown Orlando! My only constructive criticism is that the prices aren’t on the menu. That being said, the prices were very reasonable. We paid $60 for three breakfasts, two coffees, and several pastries. We’ll be back!
