We absolutely loved Gatorland. We were coming back from a cruise and had the day to kill before our late night flight. An Orlando local on the cruise recommended this. As a mom of two teenagers, they loved it. There are so many things to do. We didn’t have time to explore the entire park and would definitely go back. The food was affordable and good quality. We got a souvenir cup and popcorn bucket and refilled them all day for drinks and snacks. This place is fantastic for all ages, all genders, it’s a change of pace from the traditional theme parks, which we also love. As a travel agent, I will recommend it to all of my clients traveling to the Orlando area. My kids and significant other can’t stop raving about it. Also, make sure you zip line over the live gator pit. You can choose the one zip for a lower cost, get the experience, without spending half your days doing the zip lines. We loved that experience as well, it was so much fun.
My wife and I have lived in Florida our entire lives and we have never been here. It is the place you think of most when you know Florida. We finally took the kids one day as a random day trip and it did not disappoint. We got there closer to noon and wish we would have gotten there sooner. Next time we will. There is a ton to do for all ages. They have a splash pad and playground for kids. The buggy ride is crazy fun! The zip lining looks awesome and we are doing it next time we go. My son got to sit on top of a gator and get a picture. He had a blast. We have told all of our family and friends about it and are planning a trip back during spring break!
This place totally rules!!! Are you in Orlando and wanting to see gators up close? This is the spot! They have baby gators, white gators, giant gators – you can feed them, get within inches of them behind the glass, and even take photos with them. There were so many things to see and do, we easily spent 4 hours here. We loved the aviary which had loads of bird you could feed. You’ll want to have extra budget beyond the admission tickets since it costs extra to take photos with the gators up close or to buy gator food. But each of these experiences is totally worth it in my opinion. They have food and drinks you can buy while you’re there and the gift shop has loads of options. Every one of the staff we talked with was very friendly and made you feel welcome. Highly recommend a visit here!!!
This park 100% lived up to expectations. The exhibits were easy to access, the variety of animals was a surprise and the facilities are well cared for. The food was good, the shade plentiful and the number and frequency of shows during the day provided an easy way to engage with the gators!
This place offers a truly unique experience! You can buy fish and feed the alligators yourself—watching them snap up food up close is thrilling. The park is huge, with a variety of animals in addition to the impressive number of alligators. Definitely worth a visit!
