Great location and nice pool area. I went here with kids and it was an ok experience. The staff were great. The housekeeping was fantastic and everyone was exceptionally nice.

I would recommend you get the fully refundable fare and check the website periodically before your trip to see if it gets cheaper. I got the semi flex option and unfortunately when I found the same room cheaper, closer to my departure date, I was past the cancellation date and they didn’t give me the less expensive rate.

The rooms were exceptionally small. While the place seemed clean, there were a small amount of tiny ants/bugs we found in the room.

The most disappointing gimmick was their advertised photo shoot, which was “included in the resort fee.” The experience entailed someone with a camera taking a handful of digital photos. When we got to the desk they informed us that they could only email one photo, unless we paid extra for the other photos which were already taken. Hilton, this is a good example of a no cost service that didn’t have to be extra. It seems silly to need to charge more, especially since we paid over $120 in this resort fee.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent stay as a Diamond member.

    – Upon arrival, there was no valet service or assistance with luggage. I parked my own vehicle and unloaded my belongings, which was unexpected for a mandatory valet service that we are charged a daily premium.
    – Check-in was problematic; I found no staff at the desk and had to knock on the office door to get assistance. The staff member who checked us in appeared inattentive and did not provide the usual welcome amenities or necessary information, such as the need for bracelets.
    – Upon entering my room, I encountered several issues: the door slammed rapidly, posing a safety risk; the room was small with an unpleasant odor; and the bathtub appeared poorly maintained.
    – The oceanfront view was obstructed by a dirty flat roof above the valet area, significantly diminishing the experience.
    – While the maid service was commendable, addressing the door issue led to no action from maintenance despite immediate reporting.
    – The breakfast service was excellent, with attentive staff and quality food. I do need to mention that the daytime front desk staff was on point.

Due to the room quality and lack of maintenance response, I opted to check out two days early and relocated to the Marriott, which offered better value.

As a Diamond member, I am disappointed by the service quality and lack of follow-up from management regarding my early departure. No compensation or points were offered, which is disheartening for a Hilton property in such a prime location.

This Hilton has one main thing going for it, which is its location. We spent three days here with our young family for spring break and enjoyed it. Being right on the beach made it easy to spend time on the sand, or at the pool area, which is beautiful. The staff we dealt with inside or outside the hotel were all great. I highly recommend the frozen strawberry mule at the tiki bars.
Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance of the hotel, and we didn’t set foot in a car for the three days we stayed here. Again, the location is awesome.

However, as MANY other reviewers have stated, this hotel is showing its age and is in need of many upgrades. You are definitely paying for the location, not the quality or condition of the rooms.
The lobby is clean and bright, and everything was clean there.
These are the things that we noted could use upgrading:
    1. The door to our room closed extremely fast, to the point of it almost injuring an arm because it closed so quickly.
    2. The bathroom was extremely tiny, like laughable tiny.
    3. The latch on the balcony door, and the balcony door itself have to be at least 50 years old. The layers of paint on them are just a bad look aesthetically and looks tacky.
    4. All the electrical outlets in our room were so old that they wouldn’t hold any plug without us bracing it with something. Not a safe thing.
    5. The bathroom trim around the shower had been caulked and re-caulked so many times that it was just nasty. Hair was caught in it and was not good.
    6. The stucco on the entire outside of the hotel needs to be replaced. The countless layers of paint on it are tired, and it’s 2025: time to update, Hilton.
    7. The A/C in our room never worked consistently. The room got very warm and stuffy at night and wouldn’t keep cool.
    8. The pillows had about as much support as a cloth bag full of cooked oatmeal. These are really in need of replacement.

Now, we aren’t picky people and didn’t spend much time in the room anyway, but for what we paid for that room, we were only paying for a hotel with an awesome location. There are so many things that need to be updated. I’d like to return someday, but only if this place is made more modern. I’m afraid what the rooms will cost after upgrades are made…

Good location. High cost for an old unkempt hotel. The common areas were okay but in need of some sprucing up. Some deep cleaning wouldn’t hurt either. Oh, but the room — dirty, dank, dated, and extremely small. The slider to the balcony needed repair. The furniture on the balcony had bird feces on it. There was a gap at the bottom due to damage and therefore did not close properly. Our view was the dirty rooftop with all the mechanicals. We did have a partial view of the beach but the rooftop could not be ignored. Aside from the helpful and friendly young woman at the checkout desk, we did not experience excellent service either. We sat at the Tiki bar for 10 minutes and did not even get acknowledged. It wasn’t even busy. To be fair, we may have forgotten to remove our invisibility cloak. I’m giving all around service a C average. We stayed another night in the area but not at the Hilton. Found a four star hotel for $100 less a night. Beautiful clean room, facilities, in room espresso machine, and cozy robes. Hilton is a 2 star hotel with a 5 star price. It’s sad, really. I’m sure it was very nice back in the day

Booked an “accessible” room. Only walking people would find it accessible. Thankfully the head of guest services moved us to an actual wheelchair accessible room. Don’t expect anything for free here. The parking was an extra 30 a night even though I self parked in a handicap spot. No ramps are not ADA complaint. The restaurant Spotted Donkey is called that because I spotted it from the sidewalk. The ramp was at the Starbucks and the packed patio tables did not allow for wheelchair access unless everyone stood up and held their chairs above their heads. Skip this place and stay at a Holiday Inn Express. The cinnamon rolls are worth it.
