Very beautiful State Park. There are spots that feel remote. Entry starts at $4. People kayak, boat, and shell search there. Shoes recommended since there are a lot of sticks and small shells.
Annual member since September 2021 after moving to the area for medical school. This park has been reliable in that I can always find a place on the beach after long hours of studying to decompress. The park offers several beaches all with views and a designated pet beach. Can be crowded during holidays otherwise a hidden gem for introverts like me.
A beautiful place the wife loved Shell hunting even though the North Beach is still closed which some people say or were all the pretty shells are but she’s still got some really nice shells… I was told I would not know! This is a pretty beach lot of nice walking couple of people fishing from land.. All in all a wonderful day and only $8 for us to get in too which I thought was a pretty good deal!
Wonderful beach! It was active but not crowded by any means. It had gorgeous shells, and decently clear water. I even saw dolphins really close to the beach, it was incredible!
Not too expensive either my family or four went all for $8 Total. The beach closes at 6:00pm, absolutely worth the money!
This is a very nice beach. Almost always busy but you can usually find a place. We go to North Beach. The parking lot was partially flooded but not a major problem. There is a dog beach, a nature center and trail, and I think two other beaches besides North Beach. The entrance fee was $8.
We plan to go back.
