I had an amazing stay at Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown! The location is unbeatable, with everything downtown Tampa has to offer just a short walk away. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
My room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a great view of the city. The complimentary breakfast was a great touch, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The hotel also had excellent amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a beautiful rooftop pool—perfect for relaxing after exploring the area.

My stay at Hyatt Place Downtown Tampa was absolutely wonderful! The staff was incredibly attentive and always greeted me with a smile, making me feel truly welcome. The lobby and lounge areas were extremely relaxing—perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and featured probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. Checking out was a breeze, which I always appreciate when traveling.
On top of all that, the location is fantastic—convenient and close to everything you’d want to see in downtown Tampa. I definitely recommend Hyatt Place Downtown Tampa and look forward to staying here again!
Great location right in downtown Tampa, albeit downtown is a bit more quiet than we thought it would be. Staff was very friendly and welcoming right off the bat. Valet parking was also super convenient and pretty much the same price as parking in the lots around the hotel – but again, so convenient to just send a text message whenever you need the car and someone just brings it out to the front. If the weather was warmer, we would have taken advantage of the pool and outside areas more. Loved that there was a Starbucks attached to the hotel. Rooms and facilities were super clean. Everything was great during our one week stay
Booked this hotel last minute to go see a hockey game. Check in was quick and easy. Valet employees were very friendly. The room was clean and spacious and within walking distance to the arena. The beds were very comfortable. If I had to improve one thing it would be the pillows. They were very small compared to the bed. Otherwise a great hotel

And I stayed at a lot of IHG hotels, but this is by far one of the BEST! One of the managers, Lisa, was exceptional! She was hospitable, friendly, and helpful. She made the visit worth it! She allowed us to check in a couple of hours earlier, which was helpful after an early flight. Our room was spacious and beautiful, and the location was ideal. Oh! And the breakfast was OUTSTANDING! we enjoyed everything about the hotel. This will be where we choose to stay every time we come to Tampa.
