Excellent place, delicious food. This is my first time trying the beef bowl here. It was amazing. And the rice ball—I don’t remember its name—but it was great too. I’ll be back to try the other dishes they have. Five stars, no doubt.
Extremely disappointing service! I called at 2:35 PM to place an order for pickup, and the person who answered the phone was not only rude but seemed uninterested in helping. When I asked about fried rice, he laughed and sarcastically reminded me that this was a Chinese restaurant. He then abruptly hung up on me. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the business. It’s no wonder they’re rarely open—I won’t be returning.
If any of you all are in downtown for lunch, this spot on the corner is a great little Japanese spot with some really good food. I highly recommend. And will definitely be coming back to try the other stuff on the menu!
The place is filthy. Fruit flies all over the place. A good washing of the facility would help alleviate that problem. There was some type of feces on the counter where my wife and i ate. When we got our Chicken Teriyaki Bowl after having an extremely salty Miso Soup there was a dead roach covered with Teriyaki Sauce. As i was bringing this to the owner’s attention who refused to look at me SHE TOLD ME TO LEAVE IF I WERE UNHAPPY. Well we did. She is clearly the unhappy one. If this is connected in anyway to the Hyatt shame on them. I have no problem not going back to that establishment. I feel it my duty to warn my fellow Tampa residents
