We came here with our family of 12 and everyone loved the dumplings, rice dishes, wonton soup, and noodle dishes as we tried so many dishes. They had a mix of Chinese, Thai and Korean dishes. Gabriel provided such great service and his recommendations were great. Grateful to the owner Sue for accommodating our large party. Since we live in Tampa, we ordered takeout too lol. We finished the night with their homemade ice cream which must be tried – yes it has purple yam but the flavor tastes like pistachio and white chocolate. We would have ordered a pint to go if we were local. We definitely plan to return again!
This visit we had the Thai Tea and Crispy Chicken with Vegetables, along with our favorites from the Dim Sum menu: Chicken Bao and Kimchi Bulgogi Dumplings! The food here is always so delicious! And the portions are perfect for sharing!
Alright so once again, let’s put certain things in perspective when reviewing and critiquing establishments. Small joint in Oviedo, serves dumplings, not a flashy location. So I went to try dumplings of course! Not looking to be wined and dined, not trying to feel like I am in a mythical coy garden either. Drop in, crush dank dumps and keep moving.
Soup dumpling: I really don’t know what those were supposed to be, nor do I have tons of experience with such fare, but I would not go back for it.
Pork and shrimp with caviar: these were tasty
Crystal shrimp: these were simple but tasted very clean
Sichuan: had some spice, tang, tasty
Egg yolk lava bun thing: really neat flavor, sweet and yolky in a nice fluffy steamed bun
To summarize: food was mostly as I would expect, aside from the soup dumplings. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere is not part of this business model. But the low light and quiet place was rather enjoyable
this place is so great! i’ve only gone two times now but the food is super good and service is quick! the staff are friendly and helpful, as well as patient and as a rather indecisive person when it comes to picking what i want to eat that’s always a plus for me. me and my boyfriend typically get a plate of noodles and some of their pork bao buns and it’s plenty food for the two of us to share at a really good price! my only complaint is that in my last visit i payed with cash leaving a tip in cash and a girl who wasn’t even our waitress came up to be with one of the ipad tip screen things, just sort of off putting lol but i will definitely be back! 10/10
I wanted to like this place so bad. I’ve ordered from here twice and both times were highly disappointing:(
Soup Dumplings mushy and undercooked at the same time. It’s actually impressive… also they aren’t packaged well, they don’t even come out of the container.
Kimchi bulgogi Dumplings very tough with a texture that is like an overcooked meatball.
