We had cafe con leches which were perfect! The guava & cheese turnover was delicious. It had all the tasty goodness. The Flip Guava cheese was extra good! And finally we had a Pineapple Crumb cake for later in the day which made us wish we had ordered two of! Thank you for a great experience.
Fantastic Cuban bakery with fresh baked everything! Beautiful bread and pastries. The Cuban sandwich was just perfect with plenty of topping! The guava pastry and croquettes were both good but the bread and sandwich are next level delicious. Very reasonable prices especially for fresh baked goods. Come support a local business and pillar of the community. Plenty of parking and quick service. No seating so plan to take your goodies home or to a nearby park.
Got my favorite Media Noche and it doesn’t disappoint I cut it in 4 bc it’s a lot! Then got some pastries and two huge breads. I’m sure everything will be delicious as usual. Service is friendly but a little slow on the kitchen but still ok, about 15mins wait around 9am. Until I come back! I don’t live close by but when I’m around I make sure I stop by for sure. Definitely recommend this spot.

I ordered 2 Cubans, a mufalata, beef and cheese empanada and a deviled crab.
After ordering, it took 50 minutes to get my food. I checked back twice to see if I was forgotten as I saw people that ordered after me leaving. After the second time I could see that I had been forgotten and the person I was talking to left. A few minutes later someone else handed me my food.
I got home to find that my Cuban sandwiches were made without any pork and the deviled crab was raw on the inside.
The people working here have no concept of customer service, no organizational skills and no interest in providing quality food.
There are a lot of options for a Cuban sandwich in Tampa, skip this one.
I have been eating their bread at some events but it was my first time to actually go to their store this week and I was really delighted! Not only do they sell wonderful bread and pastries – La Segunda Bakery is also a living historical gem! I’ll go there more from now on!
