I would have given this location 3.5 stars, but I’m unable to. You can walk it’s entirety in approximately 30 minutes. Aesthetically it’s beautiful but like most communal things not everyone values nature the way they should. There is way too much trash just thrown anywhere. Also, there are people camping (having tents up) in the area; please keep an eye on your kids and I would suggest that you don’t venture into the woods. Other than those items, it’s a great place to get your steps in.

Super chill we took out boys for bike ride and we stopped at a small clean gate parkway went across a bridge stopped to see the turtles. Some construction is going on but overall super nice. We did realize the park kept going so we only biked about 1 mile. Going back to explore the other side of the trail.

I participated in a clean up there today. It’s beautiful, but I agree with other reviewers that a few trash cans are needed.

But the park is an urban oasis and a great nature walk in the middle of suburbia!

Small nature walk..20 minutes. Quite a bit of trash in and around the water. No restroom facilities. No benches. If the city had at least a couple of trash cans in the park, a dog poop station, that might help the overall appearance of this park. Disappointing to see Orlando claim to be The City Beautiful but not invest in its parks. I intentionally did not capture the amount if trash here. I see the website has requested volunteers to help clean up once a year. I’ll join in that effort to be part of the solution. Overall, if you want a nice place to get in a quick walk and feel like you’re escaping the city life for about 20-30 minutes, this is a nice spot.

It’s quiet here, beautiful scenery and good fishing. My kids love running around in the big fields and rolling down the hills. Great wildlife. Sadly there is a noticeable amount of garbage around from young kids hanging out here. I gave this place a 4 because it really is nice and peaceful and beautiful… However, one day we came back to the parking lot to our mini van window smashed. So not quite sure if it was an isolated incident but it sucked.
