It’s about a half day park, but it’s attached to other parks.
Has a couple of play areas, not a lot, though.
Paved trail goes to other long bike trails.
No restrooms other than a port-a-potty
It’s definitely a nice little Park, unfortunately you’ll never not hear the highway. Still, there are a few beautiful Cypress swamps and a couple of nice Boardwalk areas to chill out in. Plenty of picnic areas to stop and soak in nature with. BE AWARE that all of the hiking trails seem to dead end, but the paved trail goes out to more paved trails that lead into other parks adjacent to this one.
Beautiful park to visit near Sandhill pine and is next to I-75.
The park is free to park and there are lot of parking spots available.
The park has lot of swings where children can enjoy and can have a picnic with available picnic tables for lunch or gathering.
New Tampa Nature Park is popular for bike riders and has a nice trail. There is a small paved bridge also and the nature park is good for biking as well as hiking.
Nice calm place to spend time with Kids and friends. Great place to go walking, jogging by enjoying nature.
Has a small play area for Kids along with small zipline
This park connects to the Flatwoods preserve trail and has a limited parking and it’s free to park and enter. I didn’t feel the ambience great when compared to Lettuce Lake Park. On entering it has a kids playground which is not that great. No restroom building.
We visited this park today. The trail and boardwalk were good. It looks better for bike rides. They have a cool zip line and a small climbing area for kids. It was flooded with water in most of the areas which has led to breeding of mosquitoes. Several bit my daughter so please carry bug spray for sure.
