I just had the most incredible dining experience at Olive Tree last night! This hidden gem serves up authentic Middle Eastern cuisine that will transport your taste buds to the streets of different Arab countries.
From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt welcome and at home. But what truly stole the show was the food – each dish was a masterclass in flavor and technique.
We started with the Deep Fried Cheese, which was crispy on the outside and melted to perfection on the inside. The L3arayas (meat pies) were flaky and savory, filled with tender meat and spices. The Mixed Grill was a highlight – juicy meats cooked to perfection, served with a side of creamy garlic sauce insanely delicious Mandi rice. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented, and we devoured every last bite.
But what truly made our experience special was the personal touch from the chef. He came out to greet us, ask for our opinion, and welcome us to the restaurant. It was such a sweet gesture, and it genuinely made us feel like we were part of the Olive Tree family.
In short, Olive Tree is a must-visit for anyone who loves Middle Eastern cuisine.
Amazing food. Tastes just like my friend’s family. Staff was super friendly and very attentive to everyone. Felt more like a home rather than a restaurant. Prices was reasonable too. We spent less money than expected before tip. 10/10 on everything. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic authentic food from the old country. Chef Yousef’s cooking ability is surpassed only by his warm hospitality. Their pita is freshly grilled and served warm, a good sign of an authentic middle eastern spot. Their mixed grill is seasoned to perfection. If you are craving middle eastern food, this is THE place to go in Tampa.
The food and service was outstanding. Steak and chicken both sooo good! Hummus, rice, pita – all delicious! Wonderful, attentive service. Only downside was that it’s loud (lots of screaming kiddos) not the place to go for a quiet romantic dinner, but really really good food!!
Outstanding all around! We were welcomed by the chef and staff the second we walked through the door. Service was excellent, and food was even better. Authentic, delicious, flavorful. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!
