This has been a really popular talk in my foodie groups. I was kind of shocked when I came in and I was the only customer. The inside is spacious and modern and clean. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu is straightforward and simple. When you are ready to order you can scan a QR code to submit your food. And you can continuously add items from there which is really nice. Service was FAST we got our food really quickly. We were first given some house special spicy boiled peanuts. Sounds odd but they were so good I couldn’t stop eating them. In a spicy soy and chili based sauce. All of our food was super hot and fresh and very flavorful. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely attentive. I came here for soup dumplings, and they were great but one of the favorites I had off the menu was definitely the beef scallion pancake. I hadn’t had one like that before. It was stacked almost like a sandwich and stuffed with thin tender beef, green onion and cucumber and a sweet sauce. It was so good. All of the dumplings were juicy, and the steamed roast pork buns were the biggest I’ve ever had they were MASSIVE and soft and pillowy and the pork inside was tender and plentiful. The two of us ate like kings and splitting the bill the price was extremely reasonable. Really glad I finally came to eat here. I always need a new dumpling spot.
Used to be the location for the Friendship BBQ but rebranding. They are still in the soft opening phase but they have really good Crab Roe Soup Dumplings. The service is very friendly and the food came pretty fast. They have a pretty huge menu, I will have to come back and try them another time.
The best Asian food in Orlando!!! The fried rice is my favorite and tastes exactly like my dad’s fried rice. He was a chef for 30+ years and the food here exceeds my expectations. I wish I could move from NC to FL for this restaurant ❤️❤️
The place is nice, food is fairly good, but the staff is overwhelmed. They took quite a bit to give us a table and didn’t even say anything to us for about 5 minutes. We just stood there, and they just kept looking our way while working. I’m not sure if that wasn’t their job or what. Once we finally got seated, they didn’t bother to explain that the ordering system is by using your phone scanning a qr code on the table. So we just sat there and sat there. Then, finally, one of the 2 waitresses came over and advised us that we needed to use the qr code to order. However, we couldn’t get a signal in the building, and they don’t have a wifi for customers. It’s kind of a really flawed system there. Finally, the girl came and took our order with her phone after I asked her if there was another way since our phones couldn’t get a signal there and they didn’t have a wifi system for customers. She took our order, and the food was good, but they didn’t have any of the skewered food available at all. So I ordered the soup, which was excellent and the highlight of the meal. I would say the dumplings are good, but the skin of the dumplings could be a bit thinner. They could use some extra condiments on the table as well. We asked for some hot oil or chili sauce but got something more like a fish sauce but never got the hot oil or chili sauce. We also tried the onion pancakes, which i thought were pretty good. The cha sui buns were quite good, with a very soft and fluffy bun on the outside. It’s probably the 2nd best thing after the soup. We also got egg fried rice, which was pretty good, but they didn’t offer to bring us bowls for it. It’s not a big deal, but I do prefer that they ask since eating rice from a plate with chopsticks can be slow and tedious. All in all, the food is ok, but it could be better for the price. I would like to go back and try more of the food, especially the food we missed out on, and see if the experience is better now that we know how they do things. I liked it enough to go back, but I’m not in a hurry to do it.
