I walked into Pho QUYEN hoping to enjoy some good Vietnamese food, but I was immediately put off by how untidy the place was. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, tables were messy, and overall, the restaurant just didn’t feel sanitary. It was disappointing because I was really looking forward to trying the food, but I couldn’t bring myself to order. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any restaurant, and unfortunately, this place fell short. I hope they improve because first impressions matter.
I have been to this restaurant a couple times now and have been impressed with the quality and level of service each time. This restaurant serves high quality Vietnamese dishes and has an array of choices. If you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine I highly recommend this restaurant. The Pho was delicious and they serve a generous portion as well. I also ordered the avocado boba smoothie which was both interesting and delicious and the rainbow ice dessert which is another Vietnamese staple. Very impressed overall.

Food is fresh, large portions. Service is with a smile but is rushed.

So disappointed. My family & I have been eating at the Pho Quyen on Hillsborough & Memorial for over 10 years. Today they were closed for construction (likely due to damage from Hurricane Milton). Anyway, we tried takeout from the Fowler location for the first time ever and we are full of regret. While the chicken was decent, the noodles were completely overcooked & apparently never stirred. They were all just layers of squares of extremely chewy noodles. We are so shocked and so disappointed and will never order from this location, again. Completely pales in comparison to their Town & Country location. And since it’s almost 10pm & the food is inedible, we are going to bed hungry tonight. Check your noodles before leaving this place if you order takeout or you maybe be full of regret, too.
