Robert and Chris, the owners, have gone above and beyond supporting the local community with temporary housing post hurricanes. I am ever grateful!! In addition, they have outstanding staff and customer service; in particular Cherish, Anna, Yadira, and Tanner.
The property is still undergoing reconstruction, but is clean and beautiful bayside with a wonderful deck and pool. Thank you again for hosting your displaced neighbors with such care and attention.
Plaza Beach is seriously the most amazing place to stay! The staff here really make this place feel like a home away from home. Everyone from the front desk staff like Cherish and Anna as well as Krystal our housekeeper are always so pleasant and quick to help with anything you could need. You will love the manager, Tanner. He always greets you with a smile and solves any situations that come his way. He really goes out of his way to make you feel so comfortable. It is rare to find customer service of this level anywhere these days, but Tanner and his staff here always go above and beyond.
The 50’s retro theme takes you back in time and lets you experience the old school Florida vibes and hospitality. The rooms are so cute, spacious and retro!
The property has so many fun activities like beach volleyball, putt putt golf, cornhole and shuffleboard. The beach bar is fabulous and has the best drinks at great prices. You can even walk over to the sister property to enjoy fishing on the docks by the bay.
The location is fabulous with the beach just steps away and a grocery store right across the street so you can take advantage of the kitchenettes. There are so many great restaurants withing walking distance too!
You will not regret staying here. I already can’t wait to come back!
We lost our home in Hurricane Helene and we found this place through FEMA’s TSA Program. They canceled all their reservations to take care of the community’s displaced residents. From the beginning to the end of our month and half long stay, we had THE BEST EXPERIENCE. Not only was their stellar service from the staff, we were a stones throw away from the beach. There is even an on-site bar. The room was so beautiful, 50s style appliances and decor, and newly renovated. There is even a kitchenette, pots and pans and utensils which really makes you feel at home. We will definitely be coming back on better terms. These people are doing the Lords work. God bless this place.
Perfect getaway enjoy a family owned resort with an artist inspired theme. Rooms are beautiful and staff is amazing! Great for families. Visit the famous penny bathroom or visit the mini shop. Kids can enjoy some arcade style games, play foosball, table tennis, or life size tic tac toe. All while you get some laundry done (my opinion lowest price on the beach) sipping on some complimentary morning coffee. Later enjoy a drink at Chris’s Beach Bar visit the pool (still being refinished from the hurricane) hit the two volleyball courts rest at a cabana before taking a dip on the Gulf. Then head over to the road to their other hotel to get some fishing in on the largest privately owned pier in the area.! Play life size chess, visit the kiddy play area, walk your dog in the dog park and hop in the heated pool!
I can’t even tell you how much we loved staying here it was pretty central to everything we wanted to do the staff was amazing! The only complaint I have is we didn’t stay longer! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay even the community everyone was so friendly. We definitely will be going back many many more times!
