The food was just OK overall. I ordered a variety of things to go. The portions are small. The waterfall beef was tough and had chewy tendon parts and was small for $15, definitelynot worth it. The tom yum soup had a light flavor but seemed homemade and not from a paste. The calamari was underwhelming in flavor. The soft shell crab was tasty but was soggy. The panang curry and fried rice was decent. The best thing thing IMO was the Nam sod which I’ve still had better.
The place looked clean and decent inside.
One thing to note, I used the order ahead and scheduled for pickup about an hour and a half out.. they texted me 15min prior to my order time, saying it was ready. And I wasn’t supposed thay my food was cold when I got it home. I guess they started to make mine as soon as I put the order in or close to it, which was unfortunate. Room temp tom yum soup wasn’t appealing.
The food was NOT OKAY… it was EXCEPTIONAL!
Good God I had the pineapple fried rice with cashews and chicken and was brought to another planet of flavor. My GF got the peanut sauce on noodles and WOWW!
Went for dinner the other day. Ordered the Basil fried rice. It came out a bit sweet, and so did some of the other dishes my friends ordered. It was sweet for my tastes, but it is preferential.
Asked for a spice rack and some salt, and I had a delicious experience. Their Thai tea was good, too.
Just had the best Thai I’ve had in a long time! Several of us had the lunch special that consisted of an appetizer and main course. I chose coconut shrimp and ginger tofu with fresh ginger, veggies, sauce and rice. I could tell it was freshly prepared as everything tasted so fresh! Don’t let it fool you, the outside may not look fancy but the inside is packed with flavor!! If I were in the area again, I would definitely go back!
TOP THREE THAI IN ORLANDO! Don’t let the fact that this is located in a strip mall fool you; I’ve tried many other Thai restaurants in Orlando but this is by far one of my favorite ones. The service is excellent, they managed to make the space inside feel cozy and the food is absurdly delicious. From the appetizers to the noodle dishes, every plate has the right balance of spice and flavors. The papaya salad and the Thai basil noodles are my go-tos but I haven’t had a dish here that disappointed me.
