Indoor pickleball in the evening was friendly, competitive & fun. Easy to work play in with paddle rack system. Two courts in the gym. Need to check for time/day. Membership required or a $20 guest fee. Juliana gave me a tour and was delightful. Beautiful facility! If I lived here I’d consider joining. The workout facility was very nice.
Emily is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to be able to cross-market and have her team come out to our beautiful community Manor Riverside to do Yoga classes for our residents. Thank you again Emily.
I have a client who attends the JCC. Dealing with Pnina Levermore has been incredibly discouraging. My client has been going to the JCC for years, he is disabled with Parkinson’s. There was a Parkinsons event that he had been invited to VIA email. Pnina not only ignored my email but also dismissed me off the phone call by saying she has a “deadline”. She told me he cannot attend but did not give an actual reason-seems like she was searching and searching for a reason as to why he cannot come. She also tried to argue against his diagnosis of Parkinson’s and now wants proof of it. She also made a comment about him being in a wheelchair and wanting to come to the event, I explained to her just because he is in a wheelchair does not mean he cannot come and socialize and participate.
Both phone calls she seemed very aggravated right from the start because I was trying to get him signed up for an event he was excited for.
I have been in customer service for years. I advise Pnina to re evaluate her purpose at the JCC as this is supposed to be a welcoming/positive environment. When a client./family member calls for help or questions she is extremely combative.
This has been my first altercation with bad customer service and this has also been my first bad review I have left on google. I am not normally one to do this but I am still in shock of how we were treated.
I love all of the extra precautions the JCC has been taking recently! All equipment is spaced 6 feet apart and every other cardio equipment is blocked off for social distancing. One of their group exercise studios has been transformed into their functional training area with kettle bells, box jumps, medicine balls, etc. Also all group exercise classes have been moved to the gym, ballroom, or outside to social distance. Definitely feel safe here!
