This place is definitely a must-go. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had smoked sausage, scrambled eggs, Grits with cheese, hashbrowns with cheese, and a pancake, a breakfast for champions! everything was so tasty! Especially the smoked sausage. Can’t get that everywhere The ladies working there were on top of it and very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is simple and clean and does the job.
Stopped here for breakfast before a long bike ride. Had a sausage and cheese omelette which came with home fries and toast. The coffee and omelette were delicious. The waitress was attentive and polite. Will definitely stop by again.
So many things so let’s start from the top. Not greeted as my friend and I walk in and I am on crutches with a broken foot. When we finally got greeted about ten minutes later they asked how many and we stayed 2. There were 5 other groups that ended up coming in after us. We sat for about 10 minutes watching others get served prior to us even though seated after us. We finally said something even though we should not have had to. We get our drinks, put in our order and the waiting began. My drink was simple, and Arnold Palmer sweet. They gave me unseeetened and took forever to correct it. I didn’t get it corrected until the food came out. The first food out was the fried green tomatoes. They were actually pretty good. Next was my friend’s food. She ordered a waffle, side of bacon, and hash brown and wanted all of it “well well done super crispy done” in her words. I ordered the veggie omelet with cheddar cheese. How in the world did they mess up every single item. My friends food was soft, bacon was oily and flimsy, and the hash brown was only crispy at the top and then they gave me my omelet with american cheese. So of course they had to take EVERYTHING back. What a joke. Then they remade everything and theeeeen to add fuel to the fire, they brought me my omelet on a dirty plate! I’m so done. Came here and couldn’t enjoy my food. Now I’m just over it. Won’t every come back here again. And my gf texted her daughter about it and turns out her daughter said she came here and the place was trash. Wish we had asked her prior to this experience. Nothing was actually corrected except the Arnold Palmer, hash brown and bacon at this point. Eye roll!
Sweet Mama’s was a great breakfast dinner. Veronica was our waitress and she did a great job! She was very attentive to our large group for breakfast and made sure we had our coffee’s filled and all our needs were met. All of the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Great breakfast spot for an outing with the family!
Cozy place where you can find home cooked delicious food. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and you feel so at ease. I ordered tje Chicken a d Waffles, and it was truly delicious. Small hole in the wall but that the best places !
