This is a hidden gem in Tampa. There are so many beautiful cars and many are one of a kind. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable.
They also have some great artwork and old movie lithographs.
It’s worth a visit!
What a great display of automotive history. ANTHONY and JOHN answered all my questions and gave me lots of info on the cars and the history. They show many cars before the time of Henry Ford. The video showed one of the vintage out on the road for a more dynamic view of the auto. the owner’s wife SUSAN is also a wealth of knowledge. They even have a red MG just like the one my grandma drove me in as a child through East St. Louis IL when the car was new, not a vintage show piece. By the way, the MG is for sale.
The library area offers many books and a sitting area. Printed info sheet in four languages.
Great collection of cars that you can see close up.
The tiny gift shop offers apparel, a host of vintage car postcards, and car pens that are apparently selling like hotcakes.
Accessible venue with accessible restroom with grab bars.
Accessible wheel chair parking with van access in free private lot.
The museum was great. The workers are all knowledgeable and the cars are all very intriguing. We loved the guy working the register upon entry. He is very friendly and has the right personality for the job. We will definitely be coming back to see some of the cars that were unfinished.
Awesome place. I can’t believe I never knew it was here. Found out by doing a Google search of “local” museums. Definitely worth going to. The staff was SUPER nice and quick to answer any questions.
What an absolutely unique and educational experience
I have to admit that upon quick glance I just thought it’d be a normal showroom with some cool and/or unique cars, but the theme of rare and unusual or milestone type engineering is the coolest idea ever- each plaque, each video, each part of this experience was something to behold and I’m so glad we went.
This is a must see, and a must read!
