I recently dined at Texas de Brazil, and it was an experience worth raving about.
The service was absolutely top notch attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled with care, making the entire meal feel special.
The setting was equally impressive, combining a rustic, farm-inspired aesthetic with elegant touches that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was bursting with flavor, clearly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The presentation was beautiful, and each bite was more delightful than the last.
Adding to the experience, parking was hassle-free with plenty of spaces available, making the evening even more seamless. Overall, the entire experience was worth every dollar spent, and I can’t wait to return for another incredible meal.
Positive and Negative Review
Positive:
Our family had a wonderful evening at Texas de Brazil on Christmas Eve. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of perfectly prepared meats and an impressive salad bar that catered to all tastes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special family celebration. The service was excellent – the staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the night. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience.
Negative:
However, there were a few areas for improvement. The restrooms were not as clean as expecte. Additionally, the process of making a reservation was a bit cumbersome. Emails were never answered, and I had to call the restaurant directly to finalize our booking. While everything worked out in the end, streamlining the reservation process and improving responsiveness to emails would make planning a visit much smoother, which detracted slightly from the otherwise high standards of the restaurant. Better attention to restroom maintenance would enhance the overall experience.
Despite these minor issues, Texas de Brazil delivered an excellent dining experience, and I would still highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food and service in a welcoming atmosphere.
A Mixed Experience at Texas de Brazil
Unfortunately, my visits have been bittersweet. This was my third time at Texas de Brazil, but the first time I actually stayed to eat. On my previous two visits, I left due to the unpleasant attitude of the same host who greeted us today. To clarify, I wouldn’t have returned if it weren’t for my girlfriend, who was really eager to try the place.
Regrettably, the experience with the host was just as bad as before. I won’t mention her name out of respect, but she failed to even greet us properly upon arrival. I said “good morning,” but she didn’t acknowledge it, instead responding with a scowl and informing us that we couldn’t sit down until at least five members of our seven-person party arrived, even though we had a reservation. Her dismissive tone and demeanor left a sour impression, especially since this was the third time I encountered such behavior from her.
That said, once seated, the experience improved significantly. Our server was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. The food itself was good, with a variety of cuts.
However, I can’t overlook how disappointing the front-of-house experience has been. After this third encounter, I decided to share my concerns with the manager, as no guest should feel unwelcome, especially when dining at a ‘’premium’’ establishment.
While the food and ambiance at Texas de Brazil are great, it’s very likely that I won’t return to this restaurant—sadly, not because of the food, but because of the repeated poor treatment at the entrance.
In the end, I would personally recommend Adega Gaucha for a better overall experience. Their Brazilian cuisine is just as good, if not better, and they treat you warmly from the moment you walk in.
A smile and good service make all the difference!
Wow. It was the best steak I’ve ever had.. and in plentiful supply! If you’re looking to eat the best tasting meat around, I highly recommend Texas De Brazil! The salad buffet was loaded. They had soup of the day, jasmine rice, salmon, garlic, artichoke hearts, all kinds of things! Picanha was by far my favorite meat, but they are all good, with tons of variety. The service was pretty good.. the hostess said all the right things, but I didn’t find her very friendly or welcoming. I feel the experience was 4 stars due to the lack of warmth, especially considering that Brazillians are typically very warm and friendly. My reviews are heavily swayed by the service. Our server was cool and kind, but again, it was pretty dry. I would be back for the steak, though!
Our visit to the Orlando restaurant was our first time, though in the past, we have visited other Brazilian steakhouses in both Seattle and Tampa. The food was incredibly delicious! Although the salad bar was smaller, the available meat was exceptionally flavorful. My husband, our son, our daughter, and I were very pleased. The service was impeccable, and the staff was especially polite and attentive.
