Best Cuban eva!! You could eat the bread by itself it’s so good. So glad I stopped by after our trip to the zoo. The place is small and adorable. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant. And there’s little games on all the tables that you can play while they make your food. Definitely coming back again! Go, you won’t regret it.
Okay there’s been a lot of food trucks pop up around town and most of them are overpriced and kind of sketchy to eat from. This place is clean, the food is made fresh, it is resonably priced, and the food was so flavorful. I love the garlic sauce!!!! I accidentally ordered my burgers without cheese and they were still good because of that garlic sauce. I will definitely be back again because they are open late and the burgers might be some of the best in town. You could tell each burger was made by hand and the meat was not frozen. They are pretty decent size patties too. I would suggest getting two if you have a big appetite before they are so good you will want a second one. They packing is also really nice for a food truck. This place does things right!
While I have not yet tried the burger, I did get a cuban, some empanadas and wings.
The cuban was the best of the three. I am a cuban purist with cubans consumed dating back to the 60’s where the pork and ham were hand cut off bone in legs. This one had that good authentic flavor. The pork did not overshadow the cuban as many others do. An excellent production of a lifelong favorite.
Next best were the empanadas. Almost full size, it was packed with plenty of beef. I would have liked a little more flavor. Since the dough is typically unflavored, one must compensate with extra flavorful ground beef. All in all, a worthy choice.
Lastly, the wings were not my cup of tea. They are breaded and I found myself tiring of treat at the end. I did not like their garlic parm sauce, have not tried the others. Not a fan of how they were cooked either.
I like the place and have my eye on a bacon cheeseburger next. I will add this to my list of local eateries and now I have a place closer to home for a good cuban sandwich. A big step up from the lousy cubans at the market nearby.
