I came here because I was really in the mood for fish n’ chips. They did not disappoint. It was excellent. The scotch egg was good as well. They have a large beer selection to choose from and a nice cocktail selection as well.
The Reuben spring rolls were awesome. The fish and chips were stated as the best fish and chips in the US. If you’re claiming that they better be out of this world, they weren’t. They were just OK. The slaw that came with them was the real star. I think we really missed out on not trying the Reuben but they sold us with that fish statement. Atmosphere was also great! I would eat here again.
Great lunch with a fantastic server, Claire! We took a rest day from the Disney parks and wanted to find The Pub that touted the best fish and chips. They were right! We’ve tried this dish in several cities and this was the best so far! We also had the pretzel with beer cheese (awesome), burgers, and a Reuben. All were great!
We love this place and try to come here every time we visit Orlando. I always get the fish and chips and while I can’t vouch for the menu that claims it’s the best fish and chips in the U.S., it is bar none the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Gigantic, meaty and fried to perfection, it’s so good that I don’t use any tartar sauce or vinegar with it. I also always spring for the scotch egg as an appetizer. Perfectly fried, crispy sausage on the outside with a nice, soft boiled egg on the inside and drizzled on the plate is an in house made mustard that tastes like a spicy brown mixed with a honey Dijon.
My gf’s go to is the pot roast and every time she has it, she always quips that she wishes she could get hers at home to taste like this. And for something new this visit, we also tried the goat cheese dip with pita bread which literally tastes like we were dipping the bread into a lasagne. Absolutely fantastic. Don’t miss out on this place. Parking is kind of a pain but worth it.
