Visited Toledo as a Valentine’s date night. It’s located in the Colorado Springs resort. Which is a beautiful hotel! Upon walking into the restaurant it has a unique color changing ceiling. Which is great for the ambience. As far as the food goes…. it’s not at the top of my dinning list. We had the shrimp as an appetizer, I ordered the lamb and my husband got the pork chop. It just felt like the main dishes weren’t seasoned. It looked nice, but didn’t taste good. And the meats were a bit dry. Now what I absolutely loved were the Brussel sprouts! They were great! It’s a great place for pictures but that’s about it.
Was in awe from the moment we arrived. The Hotel is beautiful inside and out. The restaurant sits on top with gorgeous views of neighboring Disney theme parks and local spots. The restaurant itself is beautiful with amazing tasting food. We had 2 Chef’s dinner for two. One order with the Seafood Paella and the other with Chuletón Bone-In Rib-Eye. We also ordered the Charred Octopus and the Gambas Al Ajillo. Everything tasted amazing. From the appetizer to the meal and that dessert!. Service was great with great advice on choices to eat. The whole experience together was a Chef’s kiss
The waiter did his best, but there were some service issues that impacted our experience. My wife and I walked in without a reservation. Upon arrival, they asked if we had one, and when I said no, they directed us to the Dahlia Lounge to sit anywhere. I initially thought it was a waiting area while they found us a table, but after sitting down, I returned to let the lady know we were hoping to dine in without a reservation. She checked the tablet and then found us a table.
The waiter was polite, but it seemed like he was assigned to another area, as he frequently disappeared to serve tables there. Meanwhile, another server attended our area, except for our table, which affected the overall service and caused the rating to drop. We ordered a Coke with our appetizers, but it arrived only after we finished the appetizers, which was a bit disappointing.
On the positive side, the appetizers were well-prepared and presented perfectly. However, when our main dishes were served by the runner, only my food arrived. He asked my wife if she had ordered and confirmed that her dish should come out at the same time, but it took another 10 minutes for her meal to arrive, and it came without some of the requested add-ons. I waited for my wife’s food before eating, and another 15 minutes later, the missing items arrived.
Throughout this time, there was no acknowledgment or empathy from the waiter. We asked for the dessert menu but ultimately decided not to order and requested the bill instead, fearing it would arrive late or incorrect.
While the food was executed and presented excellently, the service didn’t meet expectations, which unfortunately affected the overall experience.

This place is beautiful and an amazing deal for cast members. The food was great. We had the ribeye for two. I can’t say I liked every appetizer on the tasting but we got to try so many items, there is something you’ll enjoy. The steak was tender; even my wife enjoyed it and she is super picky with steak. The mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were really good too.
The decor is exactly my style across the whole resort. I’ll be back for sure and maybe even have to do a staycation sometime.
We were a group of 4 that really enjoyed a New Year’s Eve dinner / birthday. The restaurant is upscale and located on the 16th floor of the Gran Destino Tower at the Coronado Springs Resort. The food is very good and the service just as good. It was not as expensive as I thought it would be, but a little more than normal. If you’re looking for a nice, special place for diner, I recommend a visit to Toledo.
