Food was phenomenal. Love the simple menu which really helped with decision fatigue that comes with excessively large menus. I love that most of the dishes if not all were meant for sharing. The food with the extensive wine menu was wonderful. The restaurant is in Disney Springs so PLEASE make sure you give yourself time to get there because there’s a walking component from where our Lyft dropped us off. Give yourself at least 10 minutes buffer if you don’t want to be late. Maybe give yourself more time if you’re prone to stopping to take nice pictures because it’s a pretty scenic walk. The restaurant was in a very nice location where you can get a nice view. They have two floors from what I’ve seen and restrooms on both floors. Zach was our waiter and he was great! Would come here again for sure.
We loved our experience! Our meal was great and the menu was pretty different from anything else in Disney springs. Of course an extensive wine menu. I tried 1oz pours of a few expensive wines that I would never try otherwise.
The small plates we tried were excellent (crispy mac ‘n’ cheese bites, meatballs, buratta and olives). The wine selection was large and varied and seemed overwhelming but our fantastic server, Manny, was knowledgeable and helpful. His service was A++. Wine Bar George is a wonderful place for a date night. Highly recommended.
Went for a date night cheese and wine and was not disappointed! We made reservations but the upstairs bar was so cool that we decided just to sit there. The bartenders were very friendly to talk to and gave good recommendations. The artisanal cheeseboard was delicious and found a nice French white to pair with.
Great place for wine but food is not the strongest point. 3.5 stars.
Wine bar George has a fantastic wine list and has a lovely atmosphere for a date night.
We had the meatballs and also the boratta which were okay but not great. I typically order fried gnocchi and found those at wine bar George to have a very heavy fry and to be too dense for our liking.
The service was good and we would likely go back but stick to the wine.
