Offers good possibilities for dining and shopping. Found a good place to park to eat at P. F. Chang’s, a good place to eat if you’re craving Asian fusion dining options. Their classic appetizer and 6 layer rich chocolate cake provide a wonderful way to begin and end a generous amount of food for the special $20 3 course dinner per couple. Dessert is not included, but an appetizer to share is. Choose a soup or salad and an entrée, which also includes a bowl of rice (brown or white). We had more than enough leftovers for another meal, and the additional $10 fried rice (regular, chicken, or beef) to go combined with the massive piece of cake could easily feed 3 people. When my fortune cookie was missing a fortune, the pleasant server brought me another one. The only part of the meals that neither of us cared for were the strange noodles that accompanied my husband’s orange chicken, but there was plenty of rice to add anyway, so we could avoid them. In fact, the next day, I added both of our remaining meals to my wok for another complete dinner. My chicken, sauce, and veggies brought enhanced flavor to his somewhat bland chicken and with both brown and white rice combined to provide an excellent dining experience. For dessert, we each enjoyed a layer of the cake with several of the blueberries included, along with whip cream that I already had. It was peaceful at home, unlike when we arrived at the restaurant. An extended family/friends with rowdy children jumped about yelling and screaming. One of the adults held a girl up high, encouraging their disruptive behavior. We were relieved when they left when our entrées arrived. The rest of the evening was delightful, but I felt badly for those who had to endure the situation longer. If it had appeared as if they would remain much longer, we would have asked to be seated farther away.
Love Winter Park. A pleasant day out. If you get a chance, take the boat ride. It’s only $20
Great food and service. I’m posting a picture of the Smores Cold Brew because it was the highlight of the meal. It was delicious! (And I don’t even like coffee)
Winter Park Village has always been a favorite spot of mine, and having seen it evolve over the years, I can honestly say this new revamp has exceeded my expectations. The original design carried a charm that perfectly balanced modernity with a laid-back vibe, but the updates have truly elevated the space.
Under the new ownership, the Village feels like it’s stepping into the future without losing its roots. The storefront facelifts give the area a sleek, polished look while still maintaining that inviting atmosphere we’ve always loved. The updates to the movie theater are a standout it’s clear they’ve stepped up their game, making it a go-to spot for a premium movie experience.
And let’s talk about the restaurants! The fresh new lineup of dining options breathes life into the Village. It’s exciting to have more variety to choose from, whether you’re grabbing a casual bite or looking for a spot to celebrate something special.
Overall, Winter Park Village has struck the perfect balance between honoring its history and embracing a modern vision. If you haven’t been recently, you owe it to yourself to check out this revitalized gem. It’s not just a shopping and dining destination it’s an experience.
